Yvonne V. "Bonnie" Linehan, age 90, a resident of Utica, formerly a 75-year resident of Royal Oak, died April 6, 2012 at her home. She was born December 23, 1921 in Detroit to the late Frank M. and Beatrice L. Godley Tabor. Mrs. Linehan graduated from Royal Oak Senior High School in 1939. She served during World War II as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class in the U.S. Navy W.A.V.E.S. at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oceanside, CA. She was employed by the State of Michigan for 26 years as a hearings reporter with the M.E.S.C. and three years as an office manager with the M.E.S.C. Board of Review. She is survived by her children, Ross J. Linehan of Ypsilanti and Timothy M. Linehan of Glastonbury, CT; special niece, Terri Jeffrey Gersch nee Tabor of Clinton Township; grandchildren, Eric and Kristen Gersch, Nathan and Mallory Linehan; and brother, Frank L. Tabor. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Linehan, on July 28, 1991; the couple married May 14, 1949 in Royal Oak; son, Thomas P. Linehan, on October 9, 2011; brothers, Alan F. Tabor, Giles D. Tabor, and sisters-in-law, Jean Tabor and Elaine Tabor. The visitation will be held Wednesday 9-11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blocks E of Van Dyke, Utica and Wednesday 3-5 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home in Royal Oak. Inurnment at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Memorials to the Royal Oak Historical Society or Royal Oak Woman's Club appreciated.
