Yvona Robbins

Yvona M. Robbins, age 80, of Madison Heights, formerly of Eastpointe, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born July 27, 1928, in Canada. Mrs. Robbins was a former, active member of St. Veronica in Eastpointe and a Sacristan. She loved reading and crafts, and was also an active volunteer at the Madison Heights co-op. She is survived by her children, Dan E. Bernie Robbins of Jackson, TN, Brian Betsy Robbins of Ontario, Canada, Claudia Poller of Algonac, Kevin Robbins of Kentucky, Cheryl Bill Ponder of Goodyear, AZ, Eddie Ann Robbins of St. Clair Shores and Faith Pete Luddy of Royal Oak; sister, Agnes Young of Mt. Clemens; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Robbins, in 2004; and sibling, Simone Miotto. Visitation Sunday 1-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Monday 11:30 a.m. until time of mass 12 noon at National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
