Funeral services for Winifred L. Goldsberry, 54, will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 21st at The Country Church at Four Corners, Wyoming with Pastors Charles Dutcher and Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow at Boyd Cemetery under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. The family prefers memorial contributions towards the Upton Ambulance Service or Osage Ambulance Service.

Mrs. Goldsberry died Friday, November 16, 2007 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Winifred was born October 23, 1953 at Newcastle, Wyoming the daughter of Ellsworth and Mary Lou Morgan Lingle. Winnie attended Upton WY Elementary School briefly then moved to Bellflower, California with her parents where she graduated from Bellflower High School in 1972. She also attended Cerritos Junior College, Norwalk, California. In 2003 she attended Eastern Wyoming College Outreach of Torrington, Wyoming where she obtained an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. On April 8, 1972, she married Jay L. Goldsberry. To this union was born two daughters, April Marie and Jody Lynn, and two sons, Joey, Jr., and John David.

Winnie briefly worked at Romney Corp. in Flagstaff, AZ then moved to Upton where she worked for Ameridan Colloid for twenty years. She then worked in Lusk at Lusk Women?s? Correctional Institute. She was currently working as a Corrections Officer at the Wyoming Honor And Conservation Camp at Newcastle, Wyoming.

She is survived by two daughters, April Magnuson and Jody Pitlick, both of Newcastle; her significant other, Gary Barnes; mother Mary Lou Lingle of Upton, Wyoming; a brother Rick Lingle of Mountain View, Wyoming and Candice Long of Eden, Wyoming. Also surviving are six grandchildren J?ean, Kiya, Diego, Terry, Takeya and TaShawna.

Preceding her in death were her two sons; father; and one sister Hazel Barnes.
