William Walker

William E. Walker, age 68, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Clawson, died September 29, 2009 at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights. He was born January 21, 1941 in Baldwyn, MS. Mr. Walker retired from the General Motors Tech Center in 2007. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Walker, whom he married July 23, 1983 in Royal Oak; children, Cynthia Walker, David Durant and Dale Durant; sister, Norma Jean Chester Milam; grandchildren, Jon-Michael, Danielle, Samantha, Drew Walker and Sara; great granddaughter, Myra; niece and nephew, Deborah and Randy. He was preceded in death by his sons, Billy Walker and John Walker; and brother, Carl Edward "Buster" Walker. The memorial visitation will be held Saturday 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
