William McBride

McBride, William R. March 10, 2010. Age 74 of Ortonville, MI. He was Born May 17, 1935 in Detroit, MI. Mr. McBride graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO. as a mechanical engineer where he was a member of the the gymnastics team. He worked at Ebbert Engineering in Troy, MI until the 70's and joined his family business as a third generation family member. The business was established in 1910 as Russell Hardware Company with two locations, Bloomfield Hills, MI and Harbor Springs, MI. He loved flying, he restored and owned several airplanes presently housed at his property in Ortonville.
He loved animals especially his German Shepherd, "Winnie". He was an avid snowboarder at Harbor Springs. He is survived by his wife, Judith Schaffer whom her married October 14, 1988.Children, Lincoln J. Claire Pairaud McBride of Belmont, CA, Jane Mark Wilson McBride of Royal Oak, MI, Morgan S. McBride of Ortonville, and Mackenzie A.McBride of Ortonville. Grandfather of Clare, Henry, Max and Leo. Brother of Jack Linda McBride of Maui, Hawaii. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 14 , 2:00 p.m. at ADI Aerodynamics, Inc. 6544 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI 48327, Hanger #1. Memorials suggested to Michael J.
