LAWRENCE, WILLIAM JR., age 87, Feb. 10, 2008 of Macomb Twp. formerly of Florida. Beloved husband of Eleanor. Dear father of Rev. William C. Ruth Lawrence, Sr., Dr. Charles G. Lori Lawrence, Sr., and Michele Ann Donald Rocho. Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Margaret Hall and the late Jane Molloy and Elizabeth Brown. Brother in law of Donald Molloy and the late Marvin Hall and Howard Brown. Mr. Lawrence was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a Proud Veteran of the U.S. Marines WWII. His family says "Bill loved the Lord. His greatest desire was for no one to perish without knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior. He has passed the torch and will be greatly missed until we meet him again in heaven." Friends may call at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd., 3 blks. Mr. Lawrence will lie in state on Friday at Grace Baptist Church, 4454 18 Mile Rd., Sterling Hgts. from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM time of Service. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.
