Born March 12, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Philip James and Violet Elizabeth Lang
A 37 year employee with the City of Sterling Heights retiring in 1993.
Served in the US Army with 8th MP Company Korean War.
A dedicated volunteer to the community and St. Matthias Catholic Church.
He was the Past President of the North East Superintendent Association.
Beloved husband of Mary Annette nee Theut of 54 years married at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica on May 29, 1957.
Loving Father of Mary Elizabeth David Raether, Dorothy Moreton, William J. Mirella Lang Jr., Philip Fiancée Mary Beth Lang, Annette Gerardo Lang-Minicilli,
Angela Kevin Kelley, and Joseph Carolyn Lang.
Proud Grandfather of David Dani, Sean Evany, Derek, Elizabeth, Matthew, Brandon, Jacob, Hannah, Stefanie Ronnie, Nori, Hailey, Marisa, Victoria, Joseph, and the late Madeline.
Dear Great-Grandfather of George, Liam, Anthony, Luke, and Estella.
Bill was a special mentor to Ryan, and will be missed by his pet "Pomeranian" Sterling.

Visitation at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. 3 Blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica Thursday 2-4pm and 6-9pm, Friday 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Rosary 7pm.
Instate Saturday 10am at St. Matthias Catholic Church 12509 19 Mile Rd. btwn. Schoeherr & Clinton River Rd. Sterling Heights until time of Mass 11am.
Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, Michigan
