William Johnstone

William John "Jack" Johnstone, age 81, a resident of Madison Heights for 40 years, died July 26, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born May 29, 1929 in Royal Oak. Mr. Johnstone was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean era. He retired from General Motors in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Johnstone; children, Jeffrey Deon Johnstone of Mason, MI and Nancy Mangosh of Hazel Park; brother, Gerald M. Marilyn Bracy of Romeo; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. The visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
