Wayne Pricer

Wayne F. Pricer, Sr., age 73, a 45-year resident of Royal Oak, died Thursday, December 18, 2008, at his home. He was born February 11, 1935, in Graham County, KS. Mr. Pricer was a graduate of Palco High School in Palco, KS. He received his bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University and a master's degree from the University of North Dakota. He worked for the Lamphere Schools in Madison Heights from 1963-2000 as a counselor. Mr. Pricer was also an adjunct counselor at Oakland Community College for over 30 years. He was a member and officer of many professional counseling associations. His interests included genealogy, the Haviland Collectors International Foundation and sports. Most of all, he loved to dote on his grandchildren. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Pricer will lie in state Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Pawel Kaczmarczyk officiating.
