Wanda Whittenburg

Wanda Whittenburg, age 74, a resident of Royal Oak for more than 50 years, died February 13, 2012 at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak. She was born September 17, 1937 in Royal Oak Township. Mrs. Whittenburg enjoyed spending time with her friends going to casinos and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Secunda; grandchildren, Sean Vicky Secunda and Aron Secunda; and great granddaughter, Brynn Secunda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard P. Whittenburg, on August 3, 2003; the couple married January 7, 1954 in Mississippi. The visitation will be Thursday 3:30-8:00 p.m. and service Friday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
