Walter Mueller

Walter R. Mueller, age 81, a 36-year resident of Madison Heights, formerly of Detroit, died June 28, 2009 at his home. He was born September 16, 1927 in Detroit. Mr. Mueller was a proud World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired neon sign maker and loved photography and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mueller, whom he married on August 25, 1973 in Detroit; stepson, Bob Davis of Lansing; grandchildren, Tara, Sherry and Brenda; great grandson, Austin; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Mueller will lie in state Wednesday 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. at the Prince of Glory Lutheran Church in Madison Heights, with the Rev. John Siefken officiating. The burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
