Viola Martin

Martin, Viola H. nee Groh Age 100, a resident of Royal Oak for over 74 years, peacefully passed away at her daughter's home on June 22, 2011. She was born on January 1, 1911 in Detroit, MI. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Harold, her daughters Doris Clayton, and Patricia Giering, her son, Roger Martin, and grandchildren Julie, Jeffrey, Ryan and Gary. Mrs. Martin is survived by her children Marilyn Gary Peters, Thomas Jean Martin, Carol Forgione, Kaye Jackola, Pamela James Lowe and Nancy Martin. She was the loving grandmother of 32, great grandmother of 44 and great-great grandmother of 7. Mrs. Martin worked for B&B Cleaners, Royal Oak, for many years before her retirement. She also is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Service Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
