Vera Mae Clees, 98, of New Port Ritchey, FL, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008. She was born to Arch Anderson and Mittie Manual Anderson in the hollers of Crab Orchard, KY on February 17, 1910. Holding their memories of Vera are her devoted daughter-in-law, Isolde Warhurst; her granddaughter, Holidae Mueller and her husband James; and her grandson, Archie Warhurst, and his wife, Mary. Vera has left her legacy in her great-grandchildren, Laura Justin Schmidle, Shannon Gabe Phelps, Michael Mueller, Kristen Mueller, Savannah Mueller, Vannessa Colt Randles and Jeffery Angela Warhurst. Her legacy is carried a generation beyond by her great-great-grandchildren, Gavin, Emma, Liberty, Klayton, George, Alexander, William, Alison and Celeste. Vera was preceded in death by her husbands, Herschel Warhurst and Claude Clees; baby daughter, Darlene; and loving son, Monroe Archie Warhurst. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star. Her life has touched friends from Crab Orchard, KY, to Detroit, MI, to New Port Richey, FL to Rose Lake, MI. Her memory, life and friendship will be cherished by all who knew her. There will be a committal service on Friday at 1:30 pm at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Arrangements by Wm.
