Velma Mance

Velma M. Mance nee Goczi, age 93, a resident of Huntington Woods, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Cambridge North Healthcare Center in Clawson. She was born December 15, 1915 in Homestead, PA. Mrs. Mance was the past president of the Huntington Woods Women's Club. She was a member of the Book Study Club and an avid Bridge player. She also worked for many years at the Huntington Woods voting polls. She was the beloved wife of John, whom she married November 24, 1934 in Detroit, and the loving mother of Jim. The visitation will be held Sunday 12 noon until the time of service 3:30 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
