Timothy Simmons

Timothy T. Simmons, age 85, of Royal Oak, died September 10, 2009 at Woodward Hills Nursing Center in Bloomfield Hills. He was born December 8, 1923 in Deckerville, MI. Mr. Simmons was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He owned and operated Tim Simmons Real Estate in Royal Oak for many years. He was a member of the Oakland County Board of Realtors, Northwood Lodge #551 F&AM and First United Methodist Church in Royal Oak. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Simmons; children, William Simmons of Royal Oak and Patricia Simmons of Royal Oak; and six grandchildren. The visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. with a Masonic service, under the auspices of Northwood Lodge #551 F&AM, held at 7 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Sonquist officiating. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
