Thomas Salveta

Thomas Salveta, age 75, a resident of Madison Heights for over 40 years. Tom passed away peacefully on December 7, 2011 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Tom was born August 17, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife Betty A. Jackson whom he married on May 25, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. Dear father of Sherry David Crawford, Jan Dave Figurski, Tom Colleen, Tony Patt, Mike Betty. Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Jackie, Andrew, Cynthia, "Little" Tom, Joe, Jake, "Little' Anthony, Alex, Kaylee, Sophia, Chris, Lance and Megan. Proud great grandfather of Grace and Jack. Dear son of the late Maisie Salveta. Dear Brother of Vince Sharon Cali, Andrea Persichino, Darnell Persichino-Bayer and the late Frank J. Persichino. Dear brother in law of Judy Persichino. Tom worked for Farmer Jack Super Market as a meat cutter for over 42 years and retired in 1998. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Tom loved watching and listening to University of Michigan football games. He loved the outdoors and" his recreational travels". He really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Services Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
