Thomas Hunsucker

HUNSUCKER, Thomas A., age 84, of Allenton, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007; at his home. He was born May 23, 1923, in Hampton, Virginia. Mr. Hunsucker retired from Ford Motor Company after 26 years. He also retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4659. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Hunsucker nee Hackett; children, Walt Lea Hunsucker of Leonard, Michigan; and Don Chris Hunsucker of Allenton, Michigan. His siblings: Lloyd Bobbie Hunsucker of Highpointe, North Carolina and sister-in-law: Fay Hunsucker of Greensboro, North Carolina. Proud grandfather of Donnie, Darren, Mitch, Tyler, Dustin, Austin, and Marcus. He was preceeded in death by his brothers: James and Harry Hunsucker and his grandson Matthew Hunsucker. Visitation will be Friday 1:00pm-9:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica. Saturday, November 17th; Mr. Hunsucker will lie in state at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John and Paul Catholic Church, 7777 West 28 Mile Road, Washington Township, Michigan with Father David Buersmeyer officiating.
