Theresa Waines

Theresa Elizabeth Waines, age 53, a resident of Warren, passed away February 26, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. She was born July 15, 1960 in Detroit. Theresa worked as a finance and accounting representative at Comcast for the past 11 years. She loved her family, but especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and going to their sporting events. She truly enjoyed helping people and touched many lives. She was the beloved wife of William "Bill" Waines; the couple married November 4, 1977 in Memphis, TN; loving mother of Billy Waines, Bobby Kelly Waines and Katie Waines; proud grandmother of Dustin and Charity Rutter; cherished daughter of Alice and the late Robert O'Connor; daughter-in-law of Gwen Lynch and the late Bill Waines; dear sister of Kathy Bobby Matthews, Debbie West, Esther Conway and the late Karen Whitnell; sister-in-law of Jeff Whitnell; and proud aunt of Jeffrey Whitnell. The visitation will be Saturday 5-8:30 p.m. and Sunday 1-8:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Theresa will lie in state Monday 10 a.m. until the time of Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Steve Wertanen officiating. The burial will take place at Mt.
