Theresa Marie Evans
Born November 26, 1926 - Died June 12, 2012 Beloved wife of Bryce Jennings Evans for more than 61 years. Daughter of Earl and Anna Prendergast Drissell. Sister to Mary E. Abert, Frances A. Martin, Anna Banko, Margaret Brotzman and Jane O'Brien. Theresa was raised in Easton, PA, lived in Goshen, IN for 7 years and in Oak Park for more than 45 years. She worked as a typist at William Beaumont Hospital, was active at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, belonged to the Women's Guild, 50 Club and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. She will be deeply missed by her 7 children: Dennis Donna of New Hudson, MI, Mick of Oak Park, MI, Eileen Michael Jankowski of Brighton, MI, Bryce Karen of Broken Arrow, OK, David Kristin of Brooklyn, MI, Jacquelyn Lonnie Simmons of Oak Park, MI and Maureen Evans of Roseville, MI. Theresa is grandmother to 17 grandchildren: Amy Evans, Josef Chrissy Vance, Lindsay Larry Bray, Matthew Cindy Evans, Keith Carrie Evans, Kory Ashlie Evans, Anna Stu Utley, Jillian Jankowski, Brandon Simmons, Patrick Evans, Sullivan Evans, Tricia Evans, Jessica Evans, Kayla Evans, Michael Lorin, Robert Lorin and Caitlin Lorin; and 3 great grandchildren: Benjamin Bray, Hailey Bray and Gray Evans. The visitation will be Friday, June 15th from 2-8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Saturday, June 16th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 13500 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park. Entombment at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
