Thelma L. Crane, age 82, a resident of Royal Oak since 1970, formerly of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH, died September 8, 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born December 11, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late John R. and Pearl R. Dick. Mrs. Crane worked as a bookkeeper for Stewart Fabrics in Birmingham for 10 years. She was a passionate seamstress and a member of the Creative Clothing Club. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara D. Crane, Lauren C. Crane Julia Stone, Suzanne L. Bill Johnson; daughter-in-law, Linda Bolton; sister-in-law, Lois Dick; grandchildren, Lisa Scott Senkbeil, Leslie Erik Roddan, Liberty Todd Tosti, Richard Johnson and Russell Johnson; and great grandchildren, Julia, Erika and Jonathan Senkbeil, Mikayla Roddan, Sophia, Sabrina and Sara Tosti. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Crane; son, David E. Crane; and siblings, Janet R. Lewis Wihl and Ronald Dick. There will be a memorial visitation Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks.
