Terry Trombley

February 22, 1953 — January 5, 2013

Terry Vincent Trombley, age 59, of Washington passed away suddenly on January 5, 2013 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital, Troy. He was born Feb. 22, 1953 in Mt. Clemens, the son of Vincent and Joan nee Theut Trombley. He graduated from St. Lawrence High School in Utica and attended Oakland University. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Naval Air. He married the love of his life, Deborah J. Blancke on July 20, 1974 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica. He founded Trombley Sod Farms in 1969 in Clinton Twp and worked side by side with his wife at the current location in Washington. His true passion was his family and farming. He drove his tractor for hours, especially with his grandchildren in his "buddy seat".
He is survived by his wife Deborah nee Blancke and four children; Terry Vincent Trombley II of Washington, Alyssa Carrol Urban of Romeo, Stephanie Frank Prainito of Romeo and Jarrod Julius Trombley of Washington. He was cherished PaPa to Vincent Trombley and Liliana Prainito. Dear son of Joan and the late Vincent Trombley. Dear brother of JoEllen Trombley of Armada. Also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Friends may call at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Scripture Service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass Thursday at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 343 S. Main, Romeo where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. time of Mass. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
