Memorial services for Terri Lynn Wineteer, 51, will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Saturday May 13th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Hopper officiating. Worden Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Terri died Monday May 8th at Weston County Health Services following a long illness.
She was born December 30, 1954 in Wolf Point, Montana to Minor and Berna Dean Grendahl. Shortly after graduating from Newcastle High school in 1973, Terri married her high school sweetheart, Lance Wineteer, on August 17, 1974. In 1982 Lance and Teri adopted Lesli Ann Wineteer. Moving to Lingle, Wyoming in 1983, Terri earned her RN degree. While living in Lingle they adopted Rudy Lee Wineteer in 1987. The family eventually settled in Newcastle, Wyoming. Terri worked at Weston County Memorial Hospital for years. She then found her passion in working at Weston County Public Health. Terri loved working with the first time mothers and had many close relationships with everyone she worked with. A member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, she enjoyed attending Bible study. Long motorcycle rides with her husband Lance and their friends and walks at their ranch were two things she really enjoyed.
Terri was an inspiration to many people. She was overly caring and never judged. She was outgoing and passionate about everything she did.
Survivors include her husband Lance, her children Lesli and Rudy; two brothers Doug Lori Grendahl of Newcastle, Keith Kathleen Grendhal of Suffolk, Virginia and one sister, Myrna Marvin Booth of Casper, Wyoming; her mother, BernaDean Grendahl, of Newcastle and eight Nieces and Nephews.
