Suzanne Burns

Suzanne M. Burns, age 59, a resident of Berkley, formerly of Oak Park, died September 8, 2009 at Providence Hospital in Southfield. She was born March 14, 1950 in Highland Park. Ms. Burns was a 1968 graduate of St. James High School in Ferndale. She retired from the American Red Cross where she worked as a lab technician. She is survived by her daughter, Krystin Burns of Madison Heights; grandchildren, Makenzie age 7 and David age 3; and siblings, Michael Evie Burns of Rochester Hills, Judith Strongman of Waterford, Maureen Burns of Berkley, Christopher Burns of De Land, FL, Carol Barber of Clawson, Mark Sherry Burns of Farmington Hills and Patrick Burns of Berkley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Norma Burns. The visitation will be held Friday 3-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with Deacon Brian Carroll officiating. Memorials to the charity of the donor's choice appreciated.
