Memorial services for Newcastle resident Susan I. Kenney, 57, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 30th at Worden Chapel. Pastor Mick Bohn of Newcastle Foursquare Church will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions be given towards area 4?H clubs.
Mrs. Kenney died Saturday, December 23rd at her home in Newcastle.
Susan was born March 16, 1949 at Hot Springs, South Dakota the daughter of Robert L. and Anita Nichols Peltz. She moved with her family to Newcastle, Wyoming where she graduated from Newcastle High School. Married for nineteen years to LaVar Kenney, the couple divorced in 1989. Mrs. Kenney was employed as a desk clerk at The Fountain Motor Inn. She was a caring individual, a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved to help others. She had a passion for clowns and that happiness they brought to those around her.
Surviving her are sons Robert Trish Kenney and their children Megan and Dillon of Newcastle, Chris Raimee Kenney and their children Austen and Moriahn of Newcastle; sister Penny Wipf of Gillette; stepmother Barb Peltz of Newcastle; step sister BernaDee Mark Warren of Spencer, IA; step brother Ben Sedustine of Newcastle, WY; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and MANY friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and brother Gary Peltz.
