Stephen Arce

Stephen E. Arce, age 49, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, died November 8, 2009 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was born August 29, 1960 in Detroit. Mr. Arce was a 1979 graduate of Shrine High School. He loved fishing and cooking. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Beverly Arce; siblings, Michael Xiomara Arce of Milford, Jeffrey Donna Arce of Troy, James Arce of Clawson, Thomas Cristina Arce of Troy, David Mary Arce of Royal Oak and Linda Joseph Cosgrove of Kenilworth, IL; former wife, Rebecca Arce; stepdaughters, Jessica and Shannon Murphy; and many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held Wednesday 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Arce will lie in state Thursday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. A private burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
