Stella Heckroth

Stella Leona Heckroth, age 98, a resident of Royal Oak for more than 60 years, died August 9, 2011 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. She was born August 1, 1913 in Long Island, NY to the late Stanley and Antoinette Gwiazda. She is survived by her brother, Edward Gwiazda; one niece; two nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Heckroth, on May 30, 1977; and brother, Frank Gwiazda. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
