Stacie Marie Seymour, age 25, of Madison Heights, formerly a 20-year resident of Royal Oak, died March 15, 2009. She was born September 19, 1983 in Detroit. Stacie was a 2001 graduate of Dondero High School in Royal Oak. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated from Oakland University with honors, with a degree in business administration in December 2008. Her family described her as a loving, caring, outgoing and athletic person. She was also a wonderful lover, friend, sister, daughter and aunt. Stacie is survived by her parents, Scott and Susanne Seymour of Royal Oak; fiancé, Adam Yednock; siblings, Sarah Seymour, Scott Seymour, Samantha Seymour and Shawn Seymour; grandparents, Donald Gora Sr., Vivian Brinker and Bill Seymour; future mother-in-law, Barbara Yednock; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her two dogs, Blitzen and Dasher. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Gora. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 - 8 p.m. and Thursday 2 - 8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be held on Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Michigan Chapter, 1421 E. 12 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071 or the Royal Oak Animal Shelter, make check payable to "The Acorn Foundation" and write "Animal Shelter" on memo line, mail to City Treasurer, 211 Williams, Royal Oak, MI 48067.
