Sr. Mary Margaret Perry, O.P. Sr. Mary Margaret of the Sacred Heart, age 92, died January 12, 2014 at the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament in Farmington Hills. She was born December 30, 1921 in Covington, KY. Beloved daughter of the late James and Hazel Burke Perry. Dear sister of the late Catherine Perry, Alice Niemer, James Perry and John Perry. Loving aunt of 11 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. Sister was baptized January 8, 1922 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and confirmed at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Covington, KY. Sister made her Profession of Religious Vows on June 24, 1946. Sister will lie in state Wednesday at the Monastery from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a wake service of Rosary and Compline beginning at 7 p.m. Continued visitation before Funeral Mass on Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Fr. David Santoro will be the main celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament, 29575 Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 are appreciated.
