Funeral services for Shirley L. Austin Reynolds, 66, of Gillette will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 29th at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 80 old highway 85 in Newcastle, Wyoming.
Burial will follow in Redbird Cemetery, Redbird Canyon near Newcastle.
Mrs. Reynolds died Monday, November 24th at the Rapid Regional Hospital, Rapid City, South Dakota of heart and kidney complications
She was born July 22, 1942, to George and Agnes Austin in Nowata, Oklahoma, where she was raised.
On March 23, 1962 she married John C. Reynolds in Alluwee, Oklahoma.
A 29 year resident, she was a registered nurse at Campbell County Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She was one of the first licensed nurse practitioners to graduate from the nursing school in Gillette.
Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband of Gillette; her children, Donnie Andersen of Newcastle, Troy L. Reynolds of Curlew, WA, Rhonda Berry of Rosston, TX, Nikki DeBerg of Sturgis, SD, and John C. Reynolds of Woonsocket, RI; 16 grandchildren; her sisters Jean Husky and Linda Sutherlin; brothers Marvin Austin, Cecil Austin, James Austin, Morris Austin and Edward Austin, all of Oklahoma.
