Shirley Ann Low, age 84, a resident of Royal Oak for the past 25 years, formerly of Traverse City, Michigan, died July 8, 2012 at Medilodge of Howell in Howell, Michigan. She was born August 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William H. and Mildred L. Singleton. Mrs. Low was the wife of the late Rev. Albert Low, former Pastor of Bethesda Missionary Church in Detroit, Michigan. Shirley was married to Albert Low on April 7, 1947 at Bethesda Missionary Church in Detroit. She was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Low was an avid Detroit Red Wing fan and loved it when she met Gordie Howe. Mrs. Low loved all Detroit area sport teams and especially loved watching every sporting event that her children participated in. She loved to talk and debate sporting events. She also loved animalS. She is survived by her children, Albert Donna Low, Kathy Low Margaret Sanderson, her close friend and David Rebecca Low. Proud grandmother of Kelly Michael Taillefer, Karyn Alex Nantes and Kristen Low and great grandmother of Joshua Brown, Isabella Taillefer and Lukas Nantes. She is survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Low. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Singleton. Service Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Arrangements by Wm.
