Shirley Gamache

Shirley Jasman Gamache, age 81, died August 18, 2012. She was born April 2, 1931, in Alpena, Michigan. She attended St. Anne Catholic schools until high school graduation in 1949. She is the beloved wife of David Gamache, whom she married on June 21, 1952. Loving mother of David Gamache Jr., Cynthia Lindner, Kathi Barringer, Judy Krutsch, and Mark Gamache. Proud grandmother of ten grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Dear sister of Phyllis Corwin, Eugene Jasman, Diane Gralewicz, Daniel Jasman, and Trudy Sulejman. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bessie nee Gohl and Gilbert Jasman, siblings: Dorothy Ransom, Harvey Jasman, Virginia Gralewicz, Bertha Hall, Orville Jasman, Charles Gilbert Jasman, and Audrey Moore. Mrs. Gamache was a member of St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, and retired from Kmart Corporation. She died after a short illness with brain cancer. Visitation is Monday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke on the northside of Hall Road, Utica. Tuesday, she will lie in state at 10:30 am until time of funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank, Clinton Township, Michigan.
