Shirley Bean

Shirley Ann Bean, age 80, of Traverse City, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2010. She died at Boardman Lake Glens Assisted Living Community surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born on March 1, 1930 in Twelve Mile, Indiana, grew up in Muncie, Indiana and lived most of her adult life in Royal Oak before moving to Traverse City in 2002 to be closer to her grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, of nearly 50 years, James R. Bean in 2008. She is survived by her children, Jeff, Mark Ronda, Leslie, Lisa Todd Myers, and Amy Bob Jensen; and six grandchildren, Lexie, Ashley, Ty, Jacob, Clayton, and Jack. Memorial visitation will be on Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W.
