Sherman Schomas

Sherman Schomas, age 84, a resident of Royal Oak, died October 18, 2010 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. He was born December 7, 1925 in Ottawa, IL. He is survived by his children, Roger Debbie Schomas and Linda May Schomas; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura M. Schomas, in 2002; and parents, Franklin and Katherine Schomas. The visitation will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Schomas will lie in state Friday 10 a.m. until the time of Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. John Christ officiating.
