Shawn Seaman

Shawn E. Seaman, age 16, of Berkley, died November 12, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born July 19, 1993 in Detroit. Shawn made his home in Berkley his entire life. He loved the aroma of mom's baking and cooking. He was a strong-willed young man, and taught everyone about patience and strength. He especially enjoyed being with his extended family. He is survived by his mother, Elaine L. Seaman; siblings, Lisa Robert Marston, Tina John Larabell and Shane Seaman; and seven nieces and nephews. Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Seaman. The visitation will be held Sunday 4-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Shawn will lie in state Monday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
