September 9, 1945 — September 25, 2006

Shepard, Sharon L. Nee Nadeau Died Monday, September 25 surrounded by her husband, and daughters at the age of 61. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from McAuley High School in 1963 and then from the University of Toledo in 1977. Later, in 1985 she moved with her family to Shelby Twp. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, biking, walking, sewing, crocheting, and doing puzzles. Sharon took great pleasure in RV camping and traveling, most recently returning from a two week vacation in the Upper Peninsula, culminating with biking around Mackinac Island and walking the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society-Shelby Twp. Chapter-"Ready to Go Reds" where she made many friends. Sharon belonged to St. Kieran Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth and her mother Carolyn Nadeau Nee Held. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Richard "Dick". Also left to cherish her memory are daughters, Christine Kevin Sheridan, Katherine Shepard, and Patricia Timothy Bieber; Grandchildren, Andrew and Jillian Bieber, Nicholas and Kellie Sheridan; Sister, Linda Thomas Gogol and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. 3 Blks E. of Van Dyke Utica Thursday 2-8pm with prayers 7pm. Instate Friday 10:30am at St. Kieran Church 53600 Mound Rd.
