Sharon Foster

Sharon M. Foster, age 72, a lifelong Royal Oak resident, died June 29, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born February 5, 1936 in Detroit. Mrs. Foster was a former member of the Royal Oak Eagles. She was a life member of the Royal Oak VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as a bartender and waitress at the VFW. She enjoyed crocheting, loved birds and had an aviary at home. Mrs. Foster was also Miss DSR in 1955. She is survived by her former spouse, Richard McPherson of Kalkaska; children, Denise Brian Robinson of Kalkaska, Sheila Shawn Crothers of Brighton, Gerald Clark of Kalkaska; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her faithful companion, Honey. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard McPherson, Jr. and daughter, Sherry McPherson.
