Seaber Callahan, age 95, a resident of Royal Oak, died April 30, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born October 26, 1915 in Ricetown, KY to the late Albert and Mary Gabbard Callahan. Mr. Callahan was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a barber at Cal's Wayside Barber Shop until 1967. He worked at Devlieg Corporation and then Chrysler Corporation until his retirement in 1980. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak. He was also an ordained deacon. Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Hazel Morene McIntosh Callahan; children, Sybil Callahan of Royal Oak, Deborah William Schramm of Troy, Denise Joseph Savino of Novi and Jill Ronald Dennis of Parker, CO; brother, Fred Louise Callahan of Booneville, KY; grandchildren, Stephen Julia Havenstein Tillis of Royal Oak, Kristen Matthew Winkle of Garner, NC, the Rev. Matthew Dana Schramm of Bay City and Joseph Savino, Jr. of Novi; and great grandchildren, Nolan Tillis of Royal Oak, Lydia Schramm of Bay City, Natalie Schramm of Bay City, Evelyn Schramm of Bay City and Hazel Grace Winkle of Garner, NC. He was preceded in death by nine siblings. There will be a memorial visitation Friday 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, with the Rev.
