Ruth Michael

MICHAEL, Ruth C. Age 82, of Shelby Township, died Monday, December 5, 2005; in Mt. Clemens General Hospital. She was born November 4, 1923, in Clinton Township. Mrs. Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica and the Trinity Golden Circle. She was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights, where she was in the choir and active in the Ladies Aid. She is survived by her children, Scott Sharon Michael of Linden, Michigan; Christine Randy Myers of Clinton Township, and Kim O'Mara of Shelby Township; sisters, Wilma Sims of Cass City and Eleanor Genscheimer of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Matthew, Peter, Sarah, Heather, and Kirk; and great-grandchildren, Elon and ShaunChristian. She was predeceased by her husband, Kirk Michael, and brother, Herbert Nieman. Visitation is 5-9pm Wednesday and 2:00pm-9:00pm Thursday at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke Utica. Friday, December 9, 2005; she will lie in state at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 45160 VanDyke NE corner of VanDyke and M-59/Hall Road Utica, with the Reverend Norman Koy officiating. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township. Memorials contributions may be addressed to Hopsice of Michigan, Trinity Lutheran Foundation, or Mt. Clemens General Foundation.
