Roy B. Smith Jr., age 71, a resident of Waterford, formerly of Royal Oak, died November 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac. He was born August 24, 1939 in Detroit. Loving father of Pam Cleatis Hershey of Millington, MI and Leisa Steve McComas of Millington, MI and Cindy John Lovoy of Helena, AL. Dear brother of Betty Westwater of Oxford, Debbie Pete Eberhardt of Royal Oak and Harold Cindy Smith of Grand Rapids. Proud grandfather of Curtis Hershey, Zachary Hershey, Tyler Hershey, Ashtyn Hershey, Heather Wright, Nicholas Amanda Wright, Brooks Lovoy and Tucker Lovoy. Great grandfather of Carter Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy B. Smith Sr. and Clara Smith. There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with the memorial service at 12 noon at the Royal Oak Eagles Aerie #2092, 401 E.
