MERTINS, Rosemary, age 66, of Venice, Florida, and formerly of Sterling Heights, Michigan; died Sunday, November 27, 2005, in Manorcare Health Services of Venice. She was born September 6, 1939, in Detoit, Michigan. Mrs. Mertins retired in 1995 after 10 years of employment as an office clerk for Dr. Johnson's medical office in Clinton Township. A resident of Florida since 1997, she was a member of Capri Isle Golf Course and Epiphany Cathedral Church in Vernice. She was a former member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Her family said she loved to golf, shop, cook, and raise her family. She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Mertins of Venice; sons, Ronnie Rhoda Mertins, Gregory Kathleen Mertins and David Rose Mertins; siblings, David Linda Dzik, Jerry Penny Dzik, Leonard Christine Dzik, and Charlotte Gerald Mulka; and 12 grandchildren. She was deceased by her parents, Joseph and Clara Dzik; and brothers, Arthur and Edwin Dzik. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Visitation in Friday, 2:00pm to 9:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica. Funeral services Saturday, December 3, 2005; at St. Mattias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, with Father William C.
