Roger Hunt

Roger E. Hunt, age 81, a resident of Waterford, died January 14, 2013. He was born May 8, 1931 in Pontiac to the late Lowell M. and Mary Hunt. Mr. Hunt graduated from Waterford Township High School in June 1950, and received his B.S. from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL on September 17, 1961. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army Medical Service during the Korean War. He retired in September 1987, after more than 20 years at GM Truck & Bus. Mr. Hunt was also a lifetime resident of the West Bloomfield and Waterford Township area. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Audrey J. Hunt; stepson, Dr. James Mary Wilson; sister, Caroline Paul Widlund; grandson, Bradley Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Presnell and brother, Donald Hunt. The visitation will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks.
