Roger Hubbard

Roger D. Hubbard died suddenly on October 13, 2012. His irrepressible spirit is mourned by his wife, Linda, and son, Daniel. As a realtor he loved helping people find their homes in Oakland County. As an ardent Democrat he enjoyed registering voters, recruiting volunteers, and lively jousting with the other side. But he felt his greatest joy as a father, his true calling. Family members sharing their grief include brothers, Joel Neonilla and Brian Jane; sisters, Cathy Nunez, Annabel Bazante and Dorothy Hubbard; stepmother, Joan Hubbard; mother-in-law, Marcella Soike; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brian Gluth and Jacalyn Scott Mann; brother-in-law, Cory Soike; and nephews and a niece. Many whose lives Roger touched will miss his generous spirit and wit. There will be a memorial gathering Friday, November 16, 2012, from 6 p.m. until the time of the service 7 p.m., at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
