Robert Ross

Robert G. Ross, age 89, a resident of Metamora Township since 1966, died March 5, 2012 at Bolton Brook Manor in Metamora. He was born November 14, 1922 in Royal Oak. Mr. Ross was a graduate of Royal Oak High School. He retired in 1987 from DeVlieg Machine Tool Co. in Royal Oak after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Helen B. Tyrell Ross; the couple married December 24, 1948 in St. Clair Shores; daughter, Virginia "Ginny" C. Kelley of Northville; and one grandson. The visitation will be Wednesday 3-7 p.m. and service Thursday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Peter Nickel officiating. The burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township. Memorials to the Lapeer Hospice Program appreciated.
