Robert Granzow

Robert Jack Granzow, age 85, a longtime resident of Berkley, died July 18, 2013 at the American House in Royal Oak. He was born October 5, 1927 in Royal Oak to the late Dean and Bernadette Granzow. Mr. Granzow served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1978 after 30 years of service. He was also an avid card player. Beloved husband of the late Carol Granzow, the couple married February 13, 1954 in Berkley; loving stepfather of Barbara Ron Schwartz and Juanita Gary Pyles; and dear brother of Edward Mary Grace of Oakland and the late LaVerne Isabelle Granzow. The visitation will be Thursday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Memorials to the Michigan Humane Society and Beaumont Hospice are appreciated.
