Loving mother of Kathleen O'Neill, Timothy Diane O'Neill, Mary Ellen James Cassady, Margaret the late William Fitzgerald, Barbara Clair Hoehn and Maureen Timothy Kapala. Proud grandmother of Kathleen O'Neill, James O'Neill, Julie Eric Swanson, Martin Cassady, William Fitzgerald, John Fitzgerald, Meghan Fitzgerald, Michael Hoehn, Maureen Dustin Gladden, Christopher Hoehn, Margaret Hoehn, Joseph Kapala, Elizabeth Kapala and Michael Kapala. Great grandmother of Margaret and Luke Swanson. Survived by her sister, Jean Turner, brother-in-law, Jack Fallows and sister-in-law, Patricia Crawford. Predeceased by her siblings, Marjorie Martin Shea, Robert Katherine Crawford, Kathleen Fallows, Kenneth Crawford, Grace Crawford and brother-in-law, Spencer Turner. Rita loved life! Her zest for life was unmatched. She was a gem. Visitation Tuesday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
