Visitation Wednesday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. In-State Thursday 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 32340 Pierce between 13 and 14 Mile Rd., Beverly Hills. Interment will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. Memorial contributions to the family wishes or Capuchins are appreciated. In honor and memory of a loyal and loving man. He was an avid sports fan and one of the rare people in Michigan who loved both MSU and U of M as he received degrees from both schools. He had a memory for dates and events like no one else. Nearly every day of the year was an anniversary of something which he remembered about an event in the family or an historic moment in sports. He was always a thinker and seeker of new information - especially if he thought it was of interest or value to his children or family. He was proud of his roots and would go to bat and do anything for his family, always putting them first. Even as his own health was declining and his pain was increasing, he still would make an effort to visit his relatives. His embracing tenderness was treasured by all who knew him.
