Richard H. Regula, age 85, of Beverly Hills and Charlevoix, died September 10, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born July 11, 1924 in Northville. Mr. Regula served three years in the U.S. Army in China, Burma and India in "Merrill's Marauders" he went behind Japanese lines in Burma and received the Bronze Star. He owned an office supply and printing business for 50 years in Royal Oak. He was a longtime member of the Royal Oak Rotary Club, where he was the past president and recipient of the Paul Harris Award. He also belonged to the Royal Oak Elks Club, BPOE #1523, Royal Oak VFW #1669, Masonic Lodge, Redford and the greater Detroit Model A Club. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and antique cars. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Regula, whom he married October 14, 1950; children, Paul Paulette Regula of Rochester Hills and Noel Kay Regula of Holland; sister, Dorothy Oldham of Arizona; and four granddaughters. The visitation will be held Sunday 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with the service Monday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev.
