DILWORTH, RICHARD E., age 77, July 9, 2011 of Shelby Twp. Beloved husband of Virginia. Dear father of Suzanne Michael Petri. Loving grandfather of Chelsea and Jacob. Dear brother of Dan Dilworth and Ray Dilworth; brother in law of Pat Boduch. Pre-deceased by sisters Joyce, Jean and Carol Ann. Mr. Dilworth was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church since 1970. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and The University of Detroit. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War as a Sgt. in the Paratroopers. He was a retired Supervisor of Salary Payroll for Chrysler Corp. He was an accomplished athlete and loved bowling, baseball and golf. Friends may call at Wm. Mr. Dilworth will lie in state on Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Rd., Utica from 9:30 am until 10:00 am time of Mass.
