Richard Davis

Richard H. Davis, age 73, a 25-year resident of Troy, died Thursday, December 25, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. He was born August 5, 1935, in Detroit. Mr. Davis retired from the Birmingham School System three years ago. He was a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. He also loved fishing and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Davis, whom he married on December 14, 1983, in Troy; children, Cheryl Gregory Richardson of Fraser, Lynn Hickman of Fremont and Darlene Ronald Michalik of Fraser; siblings, Edith Snowgold of Clawson, Donald Davis of Dearborn and Harry Cammie Davis of Ortonville, OR; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 3-8 pm and funeral Monday 10 am at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dale Hunter officiating.
