Ralph Zuhlke

ZUHLKE, RALPH age 87, of Shelby Twp. passed away March 4, 2009 in MediLodge of Sterling Heights. He was born April 15, 1921 in Imlay City, Mi., Ralph was a member of the Disco VFW Post 4659, a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army-473rd Infantry Regiment of the 5th Army, he was awared the Bronze Star, served in the European African Campaign. He was also awarded the Good Conduct and German Occupation Medals. He was a lifetime Romeo Bulldog Sports Fan. He loved all sports and loved woodworking. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. Beloved husband of the late Gladys. Dear father of Valerie Duane Anger, Mark Denise Zuhlke, Annette Don Famiano. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Service 7:00 PM Friday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd., Utica. Visitation Friday 4PM until the time of Service. Interment Imlay Twp. Cemetery, Imlay City. Memorials suggested to the Donors Choice of Charity.
